Math Miracle

If I had to list my least favorite things they would go something like: not knowing how to solve a problem, waiting for something I really want, being bored and people eating with their mouthes open. I could go on for pages and pages but I will just focus on not knowing how to do something. Anyone who has attempted to solve a complex physics, engineering or math problem can attest that it is really frustrating to stare at a problem and have no idea where to start. I know all the tricks to jump start your mind. Write down everything you know about the problem. Check. Review your notes and relevant chapters in your text. Check. Do something else for a few minutes like writing a blog entire. In the process. If I wasn't such a social misfit I could call a friend from class. Alas I have none. My professor is unavailable; so I will have to have faith in a miracle, a math miracle. My faith is weak however because the homework is due tomorrow and I was/am lazy.

You know, I can't say I can really relate since I never took a math class since calculus. And it was always obvious what I needed to do to solve a problem, since my classes were so much easier than yours. But I can see how that would be quite frustrating. I was just wondering if writing a blog entry about it was helpful to you... did you get your "math miracle"? or will you suck it up and make a friend in class next time? :)
